Pre-Kindergarten Class

This program is designed for students who will be four years old by August 31 of the current school year. Our pre-kindergarten class runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM, with an option to drop off at 8:30 AM for an additional fee.

Current schedule offerings:

Four Days (Monday-Thursday): $250 Monthly

Early Drop-Off Option

Breakfast Club (8:30 Drop-Off): $3 Daily

  • Ms. Courtney

    Hi everyone! My name is Courtney Phelps! I am so excited to be a part of the Davidson Preschool family! This will be my 5th year at Davidson Preschool as lead teacher.

    I am engaged to my sweet fiance, Corey. And I am a mom to one super awesome boy, Jaxon who is 10 years old, I also have a very sweet bonus daughter, Aria who is 3 years old, they are my whole world and my mini best friends! Jaxon attended DP and that is exactly why I fell in love with this facility and jumped at the opportunity to become a teacher here!

    I have worked in the early child education field since 2011 and have worked with children of all ages! I’m looking forward to getting to know all these sweet 4-year-olds and watching them grow and learn throughout the year!

    When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my family and friends! We love playing outside, board games, and getting crafty. Cooking and baking are my personal favorite pastimes!

  • Mrs. Amie

    Hi! I'm Mrs Amie! This is my 4th year at Davidson Preschool. I started working here shortly after enrolling my own children because I loved the teachers, parents, and atmosphere so much! I am Mom to 4 kids at home and spend a lot of my time babysitting other peoples kids. So, to say I love spending my time with kids would be an understatement. I like to "be extra" and spend a lot of time making my classroom feel inviting and fun for the kids, while also spending a bunch of time doing hands on activities and playing!

  • Mrs. Hayli

    My name is Hayli Hartley and I live in Wallburg with my husband, two kids (both who loved their time at DP) and three dogs! 

    I have spent most of my life caring for children and helping them grow and decided to take the leap into teaching and this is my 4th year at Davidson Preschool!

    My favorite part of teaching is being able to experience every step of children learning something from the initial introduction to it all the way to mastering it with confidence. One of the best things to see is that light bulb going off and how proud they are of themselves!

  • Ms. Claire

    My name is Claire Craver! This will be my 2nd year here at Daivdson Preschool and I’m so excited to be teaching with Ms. Courtney in the Prekindergarten class!

    In my free time you can find me doing facials as I'm also a Licensed Esthetician, hanging out with my friends and family, and babysitting!

    I have always loved caring for children, and I can’t wait to teach and watch your babies grow!

The Curriculum

We prepare our preschool students for elementary school in every way. Our pre-k students will not only take leaps in academics, but they learn to be self-sufficient. They will work on letters daily with emphasis on phonics and writing each letter of the alphabet. Writing will include their first and last name as well as writing alphabet letters and numbers. We will introduce math problems with worksheets and manipulatives. We love learning songs in this classroom! We will learn the months of the year, days of the week, patterns, and letter sounds through songs as well as hands-on activities and worksheets. Each day we focus on a different academic subject including science, art, and math, while doing reading and writing daily.

We use Lillio for daily communication with parents!
