Pre-Kindergarten Class

This program is designed for students who will be four years old by August 31 of the current school year. Our pre-kindergarten class runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM, with an option to drop off at 8:30 AM for an additional fee.

Four Days (Monday-Thursday): $300 Monthly

Early Drop Off Option

Early Morning Drop Off (8:30 Drop Off): $3 Daily

  • Mrs. Cheryl

    My name is Cheryl York. I'm the beginning preschool teacher at Davidson Preschool. This is my 8th year with the preschool. I retired from Davidson County Schools with 25 years of experience. I am a member of Paul's Chapel. I was blessed with a great grandson. I enjoy reading murder mystery books and going to the gym. My favorite beverage is frozen hot chocolate from The Factory (that's why I have to go to the gym). I am excited to be starting another year with your little ones!

    Hi! I'm Mrs Amie! This is my 4th year at Davidson Preschool. I started working here shortly after enrolling my own children because I loved the teachers, parents, and atmosphere so much! I am Mom to 4 kids at home and spend a lot of my time babysitting other peoples kids. So, to say I love spending my time with kids would be an understatement. I like to "be extra" and spend a lot of time making my classroom feel inviting and fun for the kids, while also spending a bunch of time doing hands on activities and playing!

The Curriculum

We prepare our preschool students for elementary school in every way. Our pre-k students will not only take leaps in academics, but they learn to be self-sufficient. They will work on letters daily with emphasis on phonics and writing each letter of the alphabet. Writing will include their first and last name as well as writing alphabet letters and numbers. We will introduce math problems with worksheets and manipulatives. We love learning songs in this classroom! We will learn the months of the year, days of the week, patterns, and letter sounds through songs as well as hands-on activities and worksheets. Each day we focus on a different academic subject including science, art, and math, while doing reading and writing daily.
